 Sales Manager
Orchid Technology is seeking to hire a highly motivated Sales Manager to help us promote our technology and products and expand our client base in Japan.
We are looking for a pro-active, talented individual, who can demonstrate ability to close deals with a proven sales history.
The candidate must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and persuasively, and will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our key Japanese clients, and expanding our sales base within Japan. Native level Japanese language ability is essential, and some basic level English skill is desirable.
We expect the candidate to take the initiative in generating new sales leads, and to communicate feedback to the development team, and generally to be actively involved in generating ideas concerning product strategy in order to maximize sales opportunities.
Good business contacts in the financial sector would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of IT/Solutions Sales is desirable but not essential.
This position is available from October 2007, and is offered on a part time or full time basis – with annual salary plus sales commission (negotiable).

Sales Agent
We are seeking to hire a Sales Agent to work on a commission-only basis, promoting our products and technology in Japan.
A proven track record of sales is required.
The candidate must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and persuasively with clients and potential clients in Japan, therefore native level Japanese language ability is essential, and some basic level English skill is desirable but not essential.
